Summertime is fun time —especially for kids in the San Antonio area. There are so many camps it would take a year to go through them all. Fortunately, we’ve done the work for you! Here are our top picks for keeping kids busy all summer long. And the best part? They are all near Briggs Ranch.


UTSA Summer Programs (Main Campus)

Offers a variety of STEM, sports and liberal arts classes for kids of all ages.


The DoSeum (Broadway)

  • Ages 3-11
  • 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday, June 1-Aug. 14

Children can enter a world of adventure that covers science, creative play and storytelling.


YMCA of Greater San Antonio

Summer camp is in session at YMCAs across the San Antonio area. Check your local YMCA to discover all the options from archery and swim lessons to arts and STEM, there is something to make every kid smile.

The San Antonio Museum of Science and Technology has a fun summer planned covering topics such as video game development, engineering, Esports, music technology, rockets, and more.


St. Mary’s University STEM Outreach Camps

Budding scientist in the family? End them to St. Mary’s. These academic STEM camps will keep teens busy and exploring their favorite subjects.

Witte Museum Adventure Camps

San Antonio Botanical Garden: Desert Discovery

Kids get hands on exploring the “Texas Native Trail. ”The 2026 “Wild Art Studio” and “Nature Rangers” sessions feature hands-on experiments, microscope investigations, and gardening challenges that explore local ecology.


Magik Theatre

Kids receive Boradway-style training covering a number of fun performance opportunities including Bluey’s Big Dance Party, pirates and fairies, and creative crafts.
